LAVABOWL

The ‘LavaBowl’ is a spin-off from the Luca Bowl where the fruit bowl is turned into a usable sink.
The result of playful experimentation with the Italian terrazzo technique, the Lavabowl is a handmade sink which can be customized to taste. Luca Beel started exploring terrazzo in 2014 and came up with the Luca Bowl, which is defined by the contrast between the rough concrete bottom and the smoothly sanded terrazzo surface. Granulates in the terrazzo can vary and are often personal treasures like stones or seashells found on the beach, or even childhood marbles.
