RECOVERY

Unarguably Luca Beel’s most personal work, ‘Recovery’ is a photo series shot during a time when the photographer was dealing with a benign tumour. During several solo travels throughout Europe, Beel used her art to dissect her tumour. The landscapes, self-portraits and visual memories in ‘Recovery’ are a way of structuring feelings that are hard to grasp.
